Privacy Policy

SeedPilot is a business-discovery app developed and operated by Multi Code Genius, Surat, Gujarat, India (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using SeedPilot you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password (never the password itself). A phone number is optional.
• Business preferences: your starting budget, the interests you pick, the experience or skills you describe, and your location as a city or state. These are what the app uses to find ideas for you.
• Location (only when you ask): if you tap Use my location during setup, your phone sends its coordinates once to our server, which looks up the nearest city. We store only the resulting “City, Region” text, not the coordinates, and we never track your location in the background.
• Searches, ideas, reports and plans: the ideas generated for you, the reports you unlock, and the ventures, milestones, goals and notes you create in Plan.
• Wallet records: the rupee credits added to and spent on your account, with a note for each entry.
• App settings: your chosen language.
• Technical logs: our servers keep standard logs (IP address, device or app type, time of request) for security and to fix problems.

We do not collect your contacts, photos, background location, health data or payment card details, and we do not show ads or use cross-app tracking.

2. How we use it

• To create and secure your account, verify your email and keep you signed in.
• To generate business ideas and reports that fit your budget, interests and location.
• To keep your wallet balance and ledger accurate.
• To prevent abuse (for example fair-use limits), fix errors and improve the app.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers that run the app for us, and only what they need:

• OpenAI (idea and report generation): your budget, interests, experience, location and the idea in question are sent to generate the text and numbers. Your name, email and phone are not sent. Requests are made with storage turned off on our side, and OpenAI does not use API data to train its models.
• Google Cloud (servers and database).
• Resend (email delivery): your email address, to send the verification link.
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim (city lookup): your coordinates, only at the moment you tap Use my location.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and Multi Code Genius.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your account, preferences, searches, ideas, reports, plans and wallet records are deleted immediately from our live database; copies in encrypted backups are removed within 30 days. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security.

5. Your choices and rights

• Delete your account: in the app, open Wallet → Account → Delete account. You can also email multicodegenius@gmail.com from your registered email address (see Delete account).
• Access or correct: you can see and edit your name, language, budget, interests and location in the app, or ask us by email.
• Location: never required. Type your city instead, or deny the permission when asked.
• Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Write to multicodegenius@gmail.com.

6. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is stored on access-controlled servers. Passwords are hashed. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Children

SeedPilot is meant for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version; significant changes will be shown in the app.
